Fun Things We Did on Spring Break
Spring break was last week. Did you do anything fun and exciting? We did not go away we just did a staycation. We did things almost every day; from the park, a day trip to Charleston, beach, movies, trampoline park, cooked, played games and watched movies at home.
Big Air
Big Air is a new trampoline place in our area. My kids loved it. We spend about 2 hours there. There are trampolines, a soccer and basketball area, a mechanical bull and so much more.
Charleston
We spend the day in Charleston. We did Isle of Palms in the morning. The kids enjoyed it but it was quite windy. Then we got ice cream (which the kids loved) The kids loved the playground, where we spend over an hour. Then finally walked on the pier in Mt Pleasant.
Playing board games
My kids love playing board games. We played a bunch of games throughout the week. Here are some of their favorite games:
Skate Park
This skate park my kids love. It has ramps the kids an go up and down with their bikes. There is also a playground on one side, a skateboard park on one side and soccer fields. We come here quite often.
Movies at home
My kids love to have a movie night at home. We take turns choosing a movie. My daughter picked Night Swim. Which is a new movie on Peacock, slightly scary but we loved it. She also picked 47 meters down uncaged, we love shark movies.
Cook and Bake
My daughter loves to cook and cake. Over spring break she helped me cook dinner a few nights. We made an Easter bunny cake and rice krispie treats.
Movies
My son wanted to see the new Godzilla X King Kong movie. We really enjoyed it. My kids love the movie theatre experience; the reclining chairs and the snacks.
